imece is a desktop app and team sync service for software teams that use AI coding agents. It records decisions, their reasons and handoffs while agents work, and adds the relevant ones to the next prompt of the other agents on the team.
Everyone on a team runs a separate agent, and none of them knows yesterday's decision. imece gives those agents a shared context: decisions, notes and handoffs sync between the team's machines.
imece doesn't write code. It works alongside the agents you already use, like Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.
Software teams that use AI coding agents. Teammates who don't use an AI tool write in the team channel from the desktop app, hand off work and see who is working on what.
imece is built by a small team of developers. We use imece to build imece; our own decisions and handoffs live in it too.
imece is in closed beta. We admit teams in order, and it is free during the beta. The desktop app runs on macOS and Windows.
Our servers are in Germany. The Security and data page explains which data is stored where; the privacy notice explains how personal data is processed.
