The agent's yours. The context's ours.

imece records your team's decisions and handoffs while agents work. Claude Code gets the relevant ones on its next prompt; Codex and Cursor reach them through MCP.

Your agent missed yesterday's meeting.
Capable, but out of the loop.

How many times have you explained the project today?

Your agent doesn't know yesterday's decision. The same rules and context get rewritten into the prompt every session, by every developer.

Same repo, different decisions

One agent builds sessions, another builds JWT. Both are right; together they break. You find out at merge.

The code stays, the reason leaves

Decisions made in meetings, hotfixes shipped in a rush, what people knew before they left. git blame tells you who wrote it, not why.

61% of respondents say important context lives in people's heads. — Stack Overflow 2026 Developer Survey · n = 12,374

imece doesn't write code.
It carries decisions from agent to agent.

It works alongside Claude Code, Codex or Cursor. No wiki or CLAUDE.md to update by hand; decisions are recorded while agents work. Claude Code knows the relevant ones on its next prompt.

Ayşe asks an agent about sessions and the agent records a decision. When Mert sends the next prompt to Mert's own agent, the decision is added to that agent's context and the reply follows it.

Set up in a few minutes.
Then just work.

An invite code and the desktop app are enough.

1Set up your team

Open the link from your approved request and name your team.

Your 6-digit invite code is ready.

2Bring in your team

Teammates enter the code in the desktop app.

The desktop app doesn't need a restart.

3Connect your agent

imece adds the hook and MCP entries to Claude Code for you. You use Codex and Cursor in sessions you start from the desktop. For another MCP-capable CLI, copy the ready-made setting from the Help panel.

They all connect to the same team records. Restart an open Claude Code session once.

Questions

What is imece?

imece is a desktop app and team sync service for software teams that use AI coding agents. It records decisions, their reasons and handoffs while agents work and syncs them across the team. Claude Code gets the relevant ones on its next prompt; Codex, Cursor and other MCP clients reach them through imece's MCP tools.

Is imece another coding agent?

No. imece doesn't write code; it carries decisions and handed-off work between the agents you already use, like Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.

Which agents does it work with?

The desktop app adds the hook and MCP entries to Claude Code for you; you can open Codex and Cursor sessions from the desktop. An MCP-capable CLI running a model like DeepSeek or Qwen on your API key connects to imece's MCP server. Relevant records are added to the prompt only in Claude Code; the others reach them through imece's MCP tools.

Where are the records kept?

Decisions, notes and handoffs are stored on every team machine and sync across the team. The privacy notice explains which data is processed where.

What about teammates who don't use an AI tool?

From the desktop app they write in the team channel, hand off work and see who's working on what.

What does it cost?

imece is free during the closed beta. Paid plans and self-hosted setup are in the planning stage.

What do I need?

A computer running macOS (Apple silicon or Intel) or Windows, and an approved access request.

How do I get into the closed beta?

Send an access request. Once we approve it, we email you a link to set up your team.
